What inspires me?
Taking aesthetics from American Traditional tattoos, pen and ink illustration and folk art
I have been burning silly little drawings into wood for over ten years now. Originally a painter and multimedia illustrator, I began to grow frustrated with how wasteful the art industry was and disillusioned with where digital art was headed. I sought out to create tangible, utilitarian and ethically sourced art in a modern attempt at intersecting folk art accessibility and punk DIY mentality.
